Dragon Art

After being stuck in the house for days I had a strong urge to go out and explore today. Next thing I know, I'm already in the train heading for KL. So I wandered around aimlessly trying out street photography (btw I still suck at it, just don't have the guts to shoot... I'm afraid that I'm infringing people's privacy.) and then I saw this dragon motif at a temple. This is one of the decent shots of the day, unfortunately all my decent shots have nothing to do with street photography >_< Did I mention today was hot hot hot? Sometimes I really do wonder, how do we live in this weather? o_O

Off topic: Because of my flu I've been in bed sleeping all day, occasionally waking up to bug my MSN buddies (I need more people on my list!) Although I'm feeling a lot better, I'm now wide awake o_O Since I slept so much today I dreamt about lots of things, ranging from my junior high life to my hometown, my parents, my pets and an affectionate unknown cat :-/ The worst thing about this sickness is that my back ached a lot, thankfully that seems to be over now. Ok, rant done :-P Oh yeah, have to wash my bedsheet once I get well because it stinks :-D

Lucky Leaf

Showing off my new mobile phone accessory, besides the leaf motif there's also an Aquarius sign :) Previously I've been using plush toys as the accessory but they get dirty quite fast so this time I'm giving metal a try. What do you think? ;)

I went to the KL Bird Park last Saturday and this is my best shot from the trip. I have no idea what type of bird this is though but I like its aura of elegance :)

Say hi to my Photogenic Jenny doll, she doesn't has any noticeable joints and that was the main reason I wanted her! I got this Jenny as a gift 2 years back :-)

Lion Dance

One of the best things about Chinese New Year is the Lion Dance and I was lucky enough to catch a performance at a nearby mall the other day. To be honest I've seen better performances (the really good ones act like playful animals and do lots of acrobatic acts) but its nice to see how they make the crowd so happy.

For me the star of the day would be this baby lion, I think the kid that was playing with it is only around 4 years old. Here's another shot of him, arghhhh! So cute! Try and spot him in the video :-D Additionally, you can click here for a gallery belonging to a friend of mine. The lion and dragon dance performance he attended sure look a lot more fun than mine! Wish I were there :-/

Lastly, the reason I went to the mall was to buy myself a gold ring. I'm 24 this year and the year of the dog is my year(the chinese zodiac has a 12 year cycle), so I thought I would get me a memorable and long lasting gift :-D But I must stress that the ring is not expensive, I am not going to reveal the price so I won't embarrass myself >;-)

PS: I like the ring a lot! :-D The squarish black spot is my camera's reflection :-P

Taken this afternoon at the park. Now that the rainy season is over I'm greeted with blistering sun everyday. Today the temperature was as high as 34°C! (93.2F)
