Reflections

The tower in the photo is called the Putrajaya Millenium Monument. It was launched by Malaysia's then Prime Minister Dato Seri Mahathir bin Mohamed on 30th August 2003. During the launch a time capsule was placed at the monument and it will be read on the year 2020.

The design of the monument was inspired by Malaysia's national flower, the hibiscus. It has a height of 68m, 3m diameter at its base and a diameter of 4m at its widest point. The tower has carvings on its body to depict the nation's historical moments. Lastly, it also functions as a light house as it has a bright 360 degree rotating light that can be seen from alot of places in Putrajaya because of its location at the edge of a lake.

Someday I will go there again to experience standing at the platforms and take photos of the carvings ;-) For more information on this tower please visit this site. Its in malay though, thousands of apologies to my international friends :-(

again, another nice night shot, ^_^ hehee si fu.. pls tell me what setting did u use? AP?

Heehee thanks! All my night shots are done with manual settings because AP couldn't determine the exposure correctly. My camera has a very handy guide for exposure and I just tweak the aperture and shutter speed to the correct one :-) Oh, I also use a tripod for these night shots because of the slow shutter speeds.

There isn't anything to teach, your camera manual should tell you how to utilise your manual settings. Didn't read ah? :-p

Smoke Head I still want the sea food ok? :-D
