I usually use Aperture Priority but last night it didn't function properly because of the darkening landscape. So the photo was taken using manual mode and a tripod. That's it :-)

Nice pictures that you are having here in your blog. I have been wandering around and all your pictures are very beautiful...

Just having one question. After using your camera for quite some time, how is it? I am interested in buying a camera and Lumix DMC-FZ5 is one of my choice. Just want to have an opinion from someone who have been using it...

Hi there! Thanks for your compliments ^_^ If you have better budget I suggest you to get Panasonic FZ20, it has every functions of FZ5 but has the extra features of manual focus, flash hotshoe and ability to attach filters that FZ5 doesn't have.

Last time I checked, FZ20 was about RM1999 and normal price for FZ5 is RM1799. I don't have many experience with digital cameras but so far I've received compliments about how nice FZ5 is in start up and focusing speed for a point and shoot camera :-)

Those 3 limitations aside, FZ5 is really a great camera compared to those similar priced compacts, you'll love the 12x optical zoom that's for sure!!! Here's the comparison that I took when I just got FZ5 last time :-)

1x optical zoom
12x optical zoom
