Another attempt at cross processing, worked all night for this but still can't achieve that distinctive look.  Also, I miss film grain =/

Cross Processed Orange Cosmos

I like the effect of cross processing but never really put an effort into applying it to my images.  A quick search in Google landed me with this simple tutorial.  Although it isn't very apparent like a typical cross processed image, the overall aesthetic feel has improved.

Wow, I didn't realize this photo had an ISO of 1600 until I type out that EXIF data. That's why I chose a D40, not only was it small and affordable, the noise control was also phenomenal at its time =)
