Riding the Matahari, Genting

Nikon D40 @ 18mm, ISO200, f9, 1/320 sec.
Very colourful but boring ride, it's more suitable for kids =/  For photographers, it's a nice way to get a high viewpoint though =D

Papar Panorama

Nokia N82, PanoMan.
Click the image to view the larger version.

A quick panoramic shot of Papar town taken with PanoMan, a panoramic stitching software for mobile phones.  The large image is unedited in any way and it's quite a decent job for such a small programme, don't you think? =)

Fake Lomo Flowers

Nikon D40 @ 200mm, ISO200, f6.3, 1/160 sec.
Stumbled upon a tutorial when I was looking up on lomo, it was easy to do and managed to perk up this otherwise normal and boring shot of the flowers. I even learned a new sharpening skill! =D  Here's the tutorial:

Fly!

Nikon D40 @ 200mm, ISO200, f5.6, 1/800 sec.
Flying Coaster, Genting. That looked like so much fun! =D

Lunch

Nikon D40 @ 42mm, ISO720, f4.5, 1/15 sec (+ noise).
Overpriced lunch inside one of Genting's restaurants. I think I had the salted fish and chicken rice.

I've been going through different phases lately, Gaussian Blur, Cross Processing and now Noise phase :-p  I miss film grain incredibly, if I have a SLR I would go shooting right now :-)

Here's the duller noise-free original.

Cable Car Ride

Nikon D40 @ 38mm, ISO200, f7.1, 1/160 sec (b/w conversion + noise).
Going uphill towards the misty Genting Highlands.

Faux IR Hills

Nikon D40 @ 18mm, ISO200, f7.1, 1/200 sec.
Dabbling with faux IR again with noise added.  Perhaps this isn't the best picture to show the uniqueness of IR photography.  This was taken through the bus's window on the way to Genting (yes it's an old picture yet again) :-p
